Christian Film's Rating Worries Lawmakers

so the churchies are pissed off that their churchie feel good movie got a PG rating instead of G and are now claiming some sort of bias in the subjective rating process...

funny, I don't remember them whining about 'a dirty shame' receiving an NC-17 (formerly X) rating, despite having zero sex on screen and no gratuitous nudity...

what the fuck. I hate this country.

"This incident raises the disquieting possibility that the MPAA considers exposure to Christian themes more dangerous for children than exposure to gratuitous sex and violence," Blunt said in a letter to MPAA Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Dan Glickman.

Because if the movie had been full of gratuitous sex and violence, with no religious content, we could predict that it would have been rated G. This is what Blunt is saying.

(hehehe, "Blunt")
