was just reading some poop about the instability of the new intel imacs, what with them rushing them out three months early and whatnot. has me thinking that maybe we should postpone getting a new compy YET AGAIN, and wait for them to iron out the bugs. the upside is we wouldn't have to rape our savings to buy the compy, and could instead spend much, much less to get other things we technically need more than a compy anyway... clothes, lamps, etc.

it's not something that's been widely reported. but i was reading up on some mac nerd sites, and there does seem to be a significant number of people reporting restart problems...
I could opt for a slower one. it's not like we do anything super processor intensive anyway... this is also partly the spending guilt tho... robbing savings to buy a compy a few months earlier?
