my tattoo.
man, the whole world is against me. for a couple years now, I've been talking about how I want to get a tattoo. of tattoo.
miyuki finally gave me the ultimatum that if I did get it, she'd stop loving me. everyone else I've mentioned it to thinks it would be a bad idea too.
c'mon people! how cool would it be to say to someone, "hey, wanna see my tattoo?" and then show them this:

original idea was to get the tattoo of tattoo on my ass... but seeing as my streaking days are long over, it would be tough to show off. I figured I'd settle for the right bicep, high up (and covered by short sleeves) or shoulderblade.
I can see how it might be deemed a bad idea... mentioned it to a 24 year old coworker, and she had no idea who it was. hell, fantasy island was even before MY time, but I'm a pop culture geek.
thirty years from now, no one would no who it was. not like anyone will know who GIR is either, and it didn't stop me from getting him inked on my leg.
but miyuki finds it creepy. and I'm scared to call her bluff.
Follow your instinct - don't test her on this one. Have you ever known Miyuki to not follow through on a threat?
paul, she NEVER follows through on threats unless they're directed at you.
do you realise how many times she's shrieked "I'll kill you!"? while it may be true and she may EVENTUALLY kill me, the threat loses all credibility if it's followed by thirty years of inactivity...
